PROBLEM: lowering the groundwater by almost 6 meters to build the operating theaters and the hospital’s technological corridor. The construction site required very slow extraction to avoid the risk of subsidence of the perimeter diaphragms and the overlying structures.
SOLUTION: installation of a wellpoint line of about 200 meters and an equal number of meters of draining pipe fitted for the safety of the operating rooms and equipment that will be installed in the compartments below the groundwater level. At the customer’s request, maintenance has been programmed and carried out by our specialized staff.
RESULT: lowering of the rope layer to the required height and subsequent securing of the foundations with the laying of the drainage pipe fitted under the slab with the possibility of reactivating it for any need that will arise in the future, without the problem of re-installing a drainage system.
