The lithographic situation is usually not heterogeneous. Therefore, it’s possible that we deal with soils in which there are different aquifers at various and relative depths, and soils with very different permeability coefficients. It is hence necessary to proceed with the installation of more than a single wellpoint system, calibrating the pumping depth, type of filter and pump, depending on the layer of soil to be drained.
