To operate in optimal and safe conditions, it’s necessary to lower the groundwater level below the bottom of the excavation so to avoid working in loose soils due to the continuous flow of water mixed with the ground.

For these and many other reasons (elimination of hydrostatic thrusts, ease of excavation and transport of excavated materials etc.), it’s necessary to use the appropriate equipment and techniques to the specific case and site, linked to the different stratigraphic types of the soil and the needs of the site.
